A point-and-click adventure about a struggling stand-up comedian in Buenos Aires
A narrative point-and-click adventure set in the Buenos Aires stand-up comedy scene. Improvise, survive awkward gigs and build the five minutes of material that could change your life.
Smokey Mike is a classic point-and-click adventure game set in the underground comedy circuit of Buenos Aires. Players navigate Paco through a single chaotic night, talking to shady characters, solving increasingly absurd puzzles, and desperately trying to turn their career around before it all falls apart.
Built in the LucasArts tradition — no dead ends, no pixel hunting, and a protagonist who comments on everything — Smokey Mike combines handcrafted pixel art environments with a script written by an actual stand-up comedian with over 15 years on stage.

Nacho Arana is a stand-up comedian with over 15 years of experience on the Buenos Aires comedy circuit. Smokey Mike is his first video game.
The idea was simple: make the adventure game he always wanted to play, set in the city he knows best, with jokes that actually land. What started as a side project became a full solo dev studio — Medium Energy — built around the belief that funny games need real writers, and stand-up scene has interesting stories to tell.
Smokey Mike is developed using Adventure Game Studio, the same engine behind classics like Primordia and Resonance.
Smokey Mike was selected to exhibit at GameSpain, one of Spain's leading indie game festivals. June 2026.
